This product is seasoned with food grade white mineral oil. Periodically rub a small amount of oil mineral oil into the slate and buff with a lint free cloth, this will maintain the colour and disguise any scratches.
Clean with a damp cloth, no harsh chemicals.
Not intended as a chopping board.
Not dishwasher safe.
